The existing building dates back to 1872 and the interior was remodelled in the 1890s. The pub is named after Queen Victoria’s 6th child who was an intelligent and artistic girl whom some believe was the most beautiful daughter.
The pub has Victorian tiling and mosaic floors and ornate mirrors. The pub features booths partitioned off from each other with cut-glass screens. Each has direct access to the bar.
It has two real fireplaces in the main bar and two in the restaurant which create a wonderful atmosphere in the autumn/winter months.
